Since March, AgroFresh has implemented action steps to help preserve the safety of our workforce and to continue to serve our customers.
Our focus has been on direct customer communications and helping our customers manage through this challenging time. That’s been our top priority. To make sure we take care of our produce supply chain customers so that they can continue to provide the freshest fruit that consumers all over the world desire, perhaps now more than ever.
Here’s a brief summary of what our team has been doing:
- We followed recommended health organization best practices to minimize any potential viral spread, so most of the AgroFresh employee base switched to work-from-home mode in March. This continues.
- We remain committed to delivering the same level of support and specific technical guidance that customers have come to expect and trust – just in a different way during these exceptional times. For instance:
- Critical operations personnel have continued to work from our service centers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of services to our customers.
- Our account managers remain on-call and virtually available to assist with any inquiries.
Certainly, every individual effort continues to make a difference in this fight against the pandemic. As a business partner dedicated to the agri-food sector, we are more committed than ever to help lead the effort to ensure the supply of safe, great-tasting fresh produce.
